In order to avoid the wrath of his overbearing mother Lee attends the party. There he learns the identity of those that composed the music for the Prank, the Dudes of Darkness, which has a hypnotic effect on the other party goers. Unfortunately Lee's mother learns from watching the news that Lee was at the party against her strict demands of grounding, getting him into even more trouble.
