When Billy goes to visit his maternal grandmother and Mandy decides to have the day for herself, Grim finds himself free of the kids to do whatever he wants to do. Since Grim quickly gets bored he goes to visit General Skarr, and lets him take his magical scythe, which Skarr uses to build an army of giant lawn gnomes. Since Grim is so used to having two kids with him when they go on an adventure, he enlists Mindy and Pud'n to help him combat Skarr and retrieve his scythe. Mindy and Pud'n prove to be worthy substitutes but they are scared away by Mandy when she notices the unusual trio

Season 6, Episode 10
When General Skarr tries to get rid of a weed in his otherwise perfect garden, he asks Grim to use his scythe to do the job. Billy drives a lawnmower and ruins the garden; also, the scythe's magic accidentally shoots Skarr, transforming him into a plant-like creature. Using his new plant powers, Skarr rebuilds his garden, and tries to exact revenge on Billy by throwing a party, and attacking him. Skarr gets mulched by a helicopter rotor, but he is reborn as a small weed.

When Mandy and Grim go to the warehouse store, Mandy notices that everything seems to be in order, lacking any presence of chaos. Hoss Delgado, spectral exterminator, arrives saying that everything has been that way since he started dating Eris, the goddess of chaos. Mandy assures Delgado he must break up with Eris to restore chaos, but fearing her temper, he is reluctant to do so. After failed attempts by Grim, Mandy, Billy, and Irwin to break their relationship, Delgado finally tells Eris the truth about he wanting to break up, and she complies by turning into a giant insect and devouring him.

Alan takes drastic steps to help Catherine's friend who is being taken advantage of in a nursing home. Meanwhile, Paul cuts back on his time at the firm when Fiona begins to take priority, causing worry among the other partners.

Suspects include the Gloria Culhane, the roommate who ended up with the very expensive ring that Caroline stole from a star athlete, Roddy Franklin, the star athlete who had his ring taken by Caroline, and Adam Halder, Caroline's best friend from childhood who turned out to be her backup during her online gambling forays. Stabler makes a special plea for Halder, feeling like he and the young man have something in common because both were boys from the wrong side of the tracks dealing with rich kids who treated them like dirt.

Spinner confronts Jimmy and a conflict that's been going on for the whole season finally comes to an end. Paige is confused with what happened last night with Spinner. Darcy leaves Spinner a love note and he must decide if Darcy or Paige is the girl for him. Manny's end of the year play premieres and a character from the past makes a shocking reappearance for her class's graduation.

The Silvas are a "Yours, Mine and Ours" family spiraling out of control. Tom and Danielle each have two children from previous marriages, and they have three children together -- the age range is six months (Caden) to 17 years (Meghan). Tom works all week away from the family in the Army National Guard, and soon he'll be deployed to Iraq for a year and a half. In his absence, Danielle, who is very disorganized, allows the children to run amuck. The kids curse openly with no consequences, and there's a lot of negative talk from the parents, which has trickled down to the kids as well. Dad and Meghan's relationship needs repair before he leaves for the war, and Jo senses that Danielle is presenting a false "June Cleaver" persona.
