Spencer has difficulty reining in RJ, and must resort to desperate measures to get a track recorded before the deadline. Meanwhile, Big Dee Dee decides to return to the stage after helping Adam prepare for an acting showcase.

Joan's mother makes a surprise visit and constantly criticizes her, particularly anything regarding her decision to open the restaurant. Joan grows fed up with her lack of support and tells her off, prompting Carol to leave. Joan also grows tired of fighting with William about the restaurant. She decides to buy him out to preserve their friendship, but he refuses to accept the check. They discuss his previous love confession, and William angers Joan by saying that he was ""desperate."" A ranting Joan winds up admitting that she tried to go to his New York hotel room to confess her feelings. They kiss and admit their love for each other, but Joan collapses when her mother emerges in a bathrobe. Meanwhile, Maya is concerned when she discovers that Jabari has been watching pay-per-view porn.

Ed, Danny, and Mike combine forces with the investigative team of Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh and Det. Woody Hoyt to solve the murder of a high-stakes gambler. The mystery intensifies when it appears that the gambler's wife may not be the only woman who wants him dead. Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg is trying to convince Delinda to allow the Montecito to be the site of his next music video. Elsewhere, Ed must deal with the demands of his wife Jillian, who has moved into the Montecito while their house is being renovated. The crossover starts on Crossing Jordan S04E07 What Happens in Vegas Dies in Boston (I).
Long Way Round
Season 1, Episode 5
A bad fall and more mechanical trouble dogs Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman as their motorbike odyssey continues. After regrouping to assess the damage, they head for Ulan Bator and are taken on an underground tour of the Mongolian capital's sewers. They then travel back into Russia and on to Siberia, where they're informed of a really bad stretch of road ahead. Reluctantly they decide to let a train take the strain.

Before Ewan and Charley enter Mongolia, they have a small portion of Russia they must travel through first. They are thrilled to be on decent roads again, and make good time driving to Barnaul, a rather large Westernized city. Ewan and Charley are taken by surprise by the stunning gorgeous Altai region they find themselves in. There are literally no roads in Mongolia as we know them. Instead, the guys must follow tracks marked in the earth by trucks.

The investigation reveals that the victim of the earlier crime was routinely tormented by a trio of classmates who invited her to a sleepover the night she was killed.
