Karen told the police that Jim had raped her. Buki continued loving baby Baxter and persuaded Mark to take her and Crystal to the park, with their babies. Crystal, fed up with the terrible prison conditions, attempted to run away from Mark, but was caught. She later sent baby Zandra home with Josh so that she would be safer. The canteen was short of stock due to Cassie's scam. Roisin told Yvonne that Cassie fancied her. After some persuading from Neil, Karen dropped the charges against Jim - Jim, realising he owed Neil, handed him his wing-governor resignation, leaving the position open for karen. Maxi, now acting like a totally different character, was upset when Tina continued to disown her. Buki was devastated to learn that baby Baxter had died during the night and revealed to Mark that the baby she has abandoned wasn't stillborn, but alive!

Jim has a run-in with an old friend from his wild and crazy days who is now a cop. Jim sets out to prove he's not an 'old married guy' by staying out all night and partying. Unfortunately, this has bad consequences for both of them...

He feels guilty and asks Bernie if he can admit his wrongdoing. Bernie explains that it is occasionaly ok to lie, but Jordan takes it to a whole new level. He manipulates his sisters, aunt, school, and even Bernie. When the family has dinner a slew of lies are admitted by everyone in the family.

Lewis struggles to find a date to his ex-girlfriend's wedding. All of his friends (and even Mimi) try to help him out, but he inevitably drives all the women away with his creepy comments. Lewis becomes extremely depressed and refuses to get off of Drew's couch. Oswald brings in Lewis's mother, who reveals to Drew that Lewis has an IQ in the genius range. His family always kept the truth from him in the hopes that he could live a normal life. Lewis is thrilled by the news. He attends a Mensa meeting, but still strikes out with every woman. He begins to fear that he will never fit in, until a woman shows up at the meeting to deal with the building's rat problem. She has a high IQ and shares Lewis's love of bizarre trivia about serial killers, etc. They immediately establish a connection and set off to catch the rat together.

On the day that she receives an invitation to Noel and Zoe's wedding, she catches Ben kissing a Claire, the couple's friend and study partner. She breaks up with him and calls Meghan, who urges her to come to New York immediately. Ben later arrives for the wedding and apologizes, but admits that he was seeing Claire for a month. Felicity tells Meghan that she wishes she had gotten together with Noel. Meghan casts a spell that sends Felicity back in time to the night that she slept with Noel. This time, she quickly confesses to Ben. He wants to forgive her and move on, but she turns him down because she is hurt by what he did to her in the future. Felicity approaches Noel and says that she wants a relationship. He initially becomes confused and pushes her away, much to her surprise. However, he later says that he wants to be with her, and is just afraid that she will reject him

She storms out in anger, leaving the future of their relationship unknown while Pacey struggles with the growing attraction he feels for Alex. Meanwhile, Dawson runs into Amy Lloyd, the movie critic, and they end up in bed together. After sex, they talk about movies and she lends him her movie. Joey and Jack focus on studies, and while she has problems concentrating, he has to catch up an entire semester and even goes back to the fraternity house asking for help. Luckily, Eric (the same guy that caused Jack his expulsion) shows up at Grams with the needed notes.
