"Connie" - Dead woman's spirit lives on in her husband's new wife. "Positive I.D." - Man accused of a robbery that he didn't commit. After the real culprit is found, the two learn they are twin brothers separated at birth. "Trucker" - A hitchhiker is trying to get a ride from a trucker, one of them spot him and takes him to a gas station. The hitchhiker then sees that a man is in pain at the station, a car is on top of him. The hitchhiker tries to lift up the car on top of him and cant do it until the trucker comes and helps him. When the police come, the hitchhiker says that the trucker helped him when the police claim that the trucker died 7 years ago. "Cook-out" - Uncle Harry's spirit saves his family for eating poisioned hamburgers during a family reunion cookout. "The New House" - An old painting saves people's lives.

It's late in the 23rd century and the aging interplanetary hauling vehicle Pequod is on a ten-year reclamation project on behalf of The Company, the corporation that has run North America since 2102. The crew is tucked away in hyper-sleep when the ship comes across a mysterious object floating in space. Awakened from their artificial slumber, they retrieve the pod and are shocked to discover the body of Virgil Nygard, executed 150 years earlier for leading his militia in the slaughter of more than a million people. They are even more shocked to discover that Nygard is alive.

Crystal was due for release later that day but was delayed due to a transport problem. Nikki offered the nurse £3,000 to help her escape – the nurse accepted and brought a security pass to Nikki's cell later that night and told her that there was a nurse's uniform in a locker. All the screws were at the party so were not on the wing. Crystal was still waiting for the transport from the prison to be ready so Di offered her a cup of tea in the office while she waited. When she was alone – she eyed Sylvia's present from the staff – a carriage clock. The girls slipped ‘speed' into Sylvia's drink, making her high. Nikki managed to pass

Unfortunately, Birkoff's arch-nemesis Greg Hillinger is convinced that Birkoff is wrong, and Hillinger convinces George that Operations and Section One are walking into a trap. Based on Hillinger's intellect, George moves against Operations on the assumption that the operation against The Cardinal is bogus. Is Birkoff right after all? And if Birkoff is wrong, is this the end of Operations, and Birkoff too?
