Dick and Mary are getting ready for the annual Rutherford Badger Day Dance Contest, but there's a small problem - Mary can't dance. Harry however has teamed up with Nina, but when Dick sees just how good a dancer she is, he orders Harry to let him dance with her instead. Meanwhile, Tommy and Don become exasperated when Alissa and Sally become friends and try on nearly everything in the clothes store. Jealousy arises, however, when Tommy discovers that Sally saw Alissa naked in the changing room, and then Sally discovers that Alissa accidentally walked in on Don changing in the Solomons' toilet. After Dick (and Nina) win the dance competition, the episode closes with a wordless pas de deux, complete with orchestral accompaniment of George Gershwin's "He Loves and She Loves", in a tribute to the final scene of the 1957 film Funny Face starring Fred Astaire and Audrey Hepburn. A portion of the film's choreography is re-created by Dick and Mary.

Will tries to learn more about Holly and starts to feel something for her. Kristen has a bleed and Julia takes her to the hospital. Claudia's dream comes true. Charlie and Kristen decide to tell everybody about their pregnancy.

Jim returned to the wing; he confiscated all the letters that he had sent Shell – now she had no evidence against him. Two Betrayer droids storm the underground facility on a mission to capture the telepathic villainess Raina. Too bad for them that Hel, Sarge and Cleo are there to stop them, but it's Raina (momentarily freed from a mental inhibitor) who forces the Betrayers to kill each other. Voice sends Raina to the surface with Sarge and Hel to see if she can mind-control a Bailey, while Cleo stays below ground with one finger on a destruct switch that will kill Raina if she attempts to harm her two companions. Raina succeeds in controlling one Bailey, although she jeopardizes Sarge's life while doing so. Cleo gets even more suspicious as Hel, Sarge and even Mauser begin acting strangely, even as Raina communes with (and eventually joins with) a Bailey leader. Although bound by Mauser, Ceo finally manages to trigger the destruct mechanism, releasing toxins into Raina's system. While Carson Briggs works overtime at the New World Commonwealth Bank, a hopeless cry introduces a blue light that swirls around him. The energy light chases and tortures Carson, pushing him onto the floor. The energy whirls in circular motions around Carson, setting him on fire. At the same time, Liam dreams of the exact horrifying events that Carson experiences. Liam goes to the death scene. Recalling the events of his dream to a investigator, he offers a piece of evidence that had not yet recovered - Carson's ring, which designed with the bank's logo and the ancient Taelon symbol for impurity. At Carson's home, Liam discovers circular burn marks throughout the house. The blue energy appears, which leads Liam to a Taelon data log. The energy takes the shape of the deceased Taelon Ku'don, who mutters the word 'exile' before disappearing. Suddenly, Liam hears loud banging and he hides the data log as commandos storm the house. They must go up against new terrorist group, Crystal Sky (who recently did a number on Section Eight). Nikita doesn't think it can be done. Is this another of Operation's gambits, in which the five new recruits are cannon fodder for some mission? If so, can Michael and Nikita save them from this fate? And, if these recruits aren't ready by the time of the mission, could their inexperience also put Michael and Nikita themselves in peril?
