But of course, his trying to be like them messes up their practicing for the big show. Later on during the show, The Zucchinis volunteer Chef Pisghetti to be in an act of theirs. But Gnocchi, always going to the chef whenever she sees him, starts walking across a tightrope to their act upsetting one of the Zucchini's who is allergic to cats. It is up to George to walk across the tight rope and retrieve Gnocchi.

Lange, a former professional baseball player acquitted of his wife's murder who had written a book hypothesising how he would have committed the murder. Green and Cassady follow the trail of evidence from Lange to Gerald Stockwell, a former ghostwriter on the book, but Stockwell tries to clear himself by offering McCoy and Rubirosa proof that one of the jurors in Lange's trial was paid off to force an acquittal.

Ash gives chase to her, and tries to battle her, only to have Pikachu frozen in stone and stolen just like Gardevoir. They decide to help Officer Jenny and try to help capture J, but eventually she also gets Meowth as well! Before she can take off, Ash, Jessie, and James sneak under her vehicle and follow her to her secret flying base. Now, the reluctant allies must work together to get back their Pokémon from J's clutches.
