Jack gets a new case for the team to solve. Jack and the team must Tony convict Hill for killing an FBI agent. Jack learns that Tony Hill is getting out of prison after serving 5 years of his prison sentence. Jack asks cousin Sal to get a confession out of Tony about the murder of the FBI agent. As the team digs up more evidence to convict Tony Hill for the murder of Shep they undercover another murder that took place in 1999. Cousin Sal is found dead in his hotel room due to a drug overdose. Jack learns that the District Attorney will let Tony Hill out again because there isn't enough evidence to charge him with both murders.

How it all ends for the cast: The Firm Closes, Eugene becomes a Judge, Jimmy and Jaime become Neighbourhood Lawyers with their own firm, Ellanor takes a hiatus from practicing law to raise her daughter, Alan Shore hooks up with Sally and continues working for Denny Crane. The final shot is of old music playing as the camera moves through the firm's offices which are packed up and all the lights are still on. Bobby Donell is sitting at his old desk crying. Despite all he had said he was the only person not to move on.

Reba confronts Barbara Jean after BJ tells Kyra that she caught the two of them in bed. She tells BJ that Brock loves her and she has no reason to worry. Brock comes home to talk to BJ, but first asks BJ if he could first talk to Reba for a minute. BJ tells Brock that this better be an important mintute and that he better figure everything out as she stomps out of the room. Reba trys to convince Brock to run after her and tell her that it wasn't a mistake that he left Reba for BJ. Brock then tells Reba that he believes it was a mistake...
