The show is set in a town centered around lucha libre and follows the adventures of three children, Rikochet, The Flea and Buena Girl, as they struggle through the Foremost World-Renowned International School of Lucha, where they study.

Daolon (without The Dark Chi Enforcers) arrives and startles the monkey who shape-shifts away. Bedlam ensues as Jackie and Daolon track the morphing monkey around the island. When the Monkey King arrives, Daolon inadvertently gives our heroes the interference they need to escape with the magical simian. Daolon uses a spell to return the Monkey King to his puppet state.
During an undercover sting operation, boxes of band candy were accidentally discovered in the lake. The candy is traced back to the Red Robins, seemingly a school club in the same manner as Girl Scouts who make record sales of their award-winning taffy. In reality, the Robins strong-arm their competition, and the Safety Patrol have been trying to catch them in the act for a long time. Ingrid goes undercover as a Red Robin, but Vallejo isn't convinced she's the right person for the job and suspects something might go wrong.

Yamamura then asks Ban and Ginji to retrieve Rika from the yakuza henchmen. After the GetBackers infiltrate the mansion to save her, Rika betrays them, admitting that she has every thing she needs from the yakuza henchmen. However, the yakuza henchmen admit that they planned on taking her as well as forcing her father to sell her. Using Evil Eye, Ban causes Rika to dream of the yakuza henchmen leader killing both Ban and Ginji, but then witnesses the yakuza henchmen being burned alive. Once she wakes up, Ginji try to convince Rika to return to her father, much to their chagrin. Yamamura later suffers a fatal heart attack, which causes Ban to give him a dream in which Rika comes back for him.
