Jack has Nina connect Victor Drazen to a hospital phone so he can talk directly to Alexis. Nina then advises Palmer of the situation. Palmer urges Mason to arrange the exchange Drazen proposed: the return of Jack for the return of Alexis. Although Alexis is delivered, Drazen holds onto Kim and tells Jack he needs to do one last thing if he wants to see his daughter again.
Smallville
Season 1, Episode 19
Former Smallville High cartoonist Justin loses the use of his hands in a hit and run accident, and develops the ability to move things with his mind. After crippling his unsympathetic doctor he returns to Smallville and hooks back up with his friend Chloe. He reveals his secret to Chloe, and then takes revenge by killing Principal Kwan, who was the driver who hit him. It turns out Kwan's son Danny was the driver. Chloe realizes Justin is responsible, and Clarks comes to her aid, knocking Justin out. Meanwhile, Lex's former nanny, Pamela, comes back to see how he's doing and to apologize for leaving him after his mother's death, bringing up some old issues for Lex. And Whitney's father passes away.

While Kim has to contend with listening to Greg's mother's chit chat, Greg has to contend with seeing his mother boss his father around like a child. Greg tells Jimmy about it, worried how Tom no longer fights back. Jimmy recommends Greg spring him for a day, so Greg invites both men to a Vegas vacation this weekend. He tries to ask his mother for permission first, but when she says Tom can't go, Greg goes behind her back and takes him anyway -- which angers both wives when they find out their husbands left without telling them. Back in the present, Sydney and Nigel uncover a wall-painting of the female rider. Just as they are about to study it, a sound comes from outside and Syd dashes out to find someone stealing their horses. She grabs one horse and pursues the theif leaving Nigel with his camera, laptop and little water in the middle of nowhere. Syd catches up with the theif but is knocked out fighting with him. After an anxious wait for Syds return, Nigel phones Karen and sets off on foot. Syd befriends the theif who turns out to be the twin brother of the leader of a tribe of horse people. Nigel passes out in the desert and is rescued by the aforementioned sister who enlists his help to find the saddle so she can prove her right to lead her people.
