Drew, inspired by his short stint as a security guard, buys a police scanner. After hearing of an incident at the Warsaw, he races over to the bar and tries to offer his assistance to the police. An attractive cop decides to go out with him, explaining that she wants to take a break from dating good-looking guys. Drew soon discovers that he and Marlo have nothing in common, and his health goes into decline because of her constant smoking and his allergy to her cat. He plans to break up with her, but becomes terrified of the consequences after seeing her rough up a guy whose only offense was a broken taillight. Oswald and Colleen ask Lewis to give them some time alone at the house. He claims to have begun dating a co-worker, but actually sleeps in Drew's basement. Drew finally breaks up with Marlo, who becomes enraged and vows revenge. When Lewis comes up for a snack late that night, Drew believes that Marlo has come after him. He shoots Lewis in the leg. Joey is held up and forced to clean out her account by a street mugger, who is accidentally run over by a car just after mugging Joey. The merciful girl from Capeside stands by her aggressor, checking up on him and trying to get an ambulance and get him to the hospital after seeing the similarities between him and her own father. When the cops and paramedics arrive, Joey faints and is taken to the hospital. After recovering, she accidentally meets the mugger's estranged wife and daughter. Joey stands by her dying mugger as she tries to learn more about her own father. After his death, she makes a choice of sparing the guy's little daughter's feelings by telling her he jumped in front of the car to save her life.

Tucker and Reed set out on a mission in a shuttlepod, as Enterprise is busy investigating an asteroid field. Disaster strikes while the pair are away, leaving the shuttlepod damaged and the warp drive inoperable. They manage to make it back to the rendezvous coordinates only to discover Enterprise was apparently destroyed when it crashed into an asteroid. With the ship seemingly no more, the pair are left abandoned in the middle of nowhere with only a few days of air remaining.

After Dawn talks to a guidance counselor about her feeling lonely, she accidentally puts a spell on Buffy and her friends, trapping them inside the Summer's house with a sword-wielding demon.

At the beginning of the match, we see very manhandled by the champion challenger. Indeed, as Ippo, Sendo is struggling to impose its style of boxing against a southpaw boxer, that is to say a southpaw boxer. Sendo tries to put his best shots Shigeta, but it dodges every time and even manages to outsmart his famous fatal blow, the Smash.

Michael uncovers a conspiracy at Metachem, when a guard is killed on duty. Michael enlists the aid of Max and Isabel when the investigation takes an alien turn. Meanwhile, Liz has entered boarding school in Vermont and tries to start a new life, and Maria disillusioned by New York goes to visit Liz in Vermont.

Across town, Jack kidnaps Cofell and, after hearing Cofell's Serbian accent, has Nina break into an old case file profiling a secret mission Jack was on in Belgrade and Kosovo two years ago. Then Jack meets Cofell's contact: the man who claimed to be Alan York.
