Topanga wants to let well enough alone, but Cory misses no opportunity to throw his friends together, but the consequences are not exactly what he wants: after they finally kiss, Angela expresses her love for Shawn, but he protests that he is "not ready" to make the same commitment and she storms off for good. Meanwhile, Eric takes his store Santa job a little too seriously when he convinces Rachel and Jack to help him steal his family's gifts in order to make underprivileged children happy.

He impresses Gina by coming to her defense when a drunk harasses her at the club. Drew decides to take night school classes to pursue a master's degree after a young man he was mentoring suddenly receives an executive position at Winfred-Louder. When his statistics professor recommends that the students find study partners, Drew pairs with Celia, a 62-year-old woman who is the only other ""old person"" in the class. They have a good time hanging out at Drew's house after a study session, and soon realize that they are attracted to each other. Celia stays the night, although they do not have sex. Drew's friends mock him after learning of the age difference, but he insists that he really likes Celia. He is puzzled when Celia ignores him in class and says that she doesn't want to see him anymore. Drew shows up at her favorite bingo parlor, and Celia explains that she dumped him because she thought he would eventually become embarrassed by her. Drew proves himself by taking over for the bingo caller and publicly announcing his feelings. Celia agrees to date him.

Gail Mancuso seems to direct all the best episodes, and this is no exception: A friendly game of strip poker between the newlyweds is interrupted by an emergency visit from Larry and Abbie (who are willing to wait a half hour until the sex is finished, an offer Greg can't accept). It turns out that their property is under siege by an unscrupulous developer who happens to be a former, and hated, classmate of Greg's. After Dharma invites the developer and his wife to dinner, then has to fight off his sexual advances, she is forced to accept Greg's viewpoint -- that he is evil -- and to seek a flattered Kitty's advice on how to get rid of him and save her parents' beloved home. The solution involves Jane, Pete, a trampoline, some garbage cans, and the IRS... and a wonderful coda using the trampoline. (In the course of the episode we also learn that Dharma has been both a magician's assistant and a professional casino dealer.)
