Syd tries to dump her off at a cheap convalescent home, but Jane refuses to go. Sydney leaves Jane on the beach while she has dinner with Michael. Jake saves Jane from drowning. Jo believes Richard's claims of innocence regarding the pills. Alan wins a role on a soap opera.
