Neely Capshaw, the unwholesome, psycho lifeguard who tried to frame Matt for sexual harassment, arrives back at Baywatch for a job as the switchboard operator and is greeted with a hostile reception from everyone, especially C.J. who personally holds Neely responsible for Matt's departure from Baywatch.

Season 4, Episode 4
Brooke flies to Miami to investigate Amanda's past. She learns from an old newspaper article that Amanda was presumed dead years ago. She also visits the house of Amanda's ex-husband, Jack, claiming that her car has broken down. Brooke blackmails Amanda into giving her a promotion. Jack, who had swiped one of Brooke's business cards, arrives in Los Angeles. Billy learns that Alison has regained her sight. Michael pretends to have reconciled with Sydney in the hopes of driving Kimberly over the edge. Peter reveals to Syd that his concern for Kimberly stems from memories of a deceased sister who suffered a similar plight. Jane and Richard get engaged. Richard fires Jane after she publicly dishonors MacKenzie's memory, but is later forced to make her a partner. Jo is wary when Jake hires Shelly and allows her to stay at his apartment. Dr. Hobbs makes a homophobic remark about Matt to Michael. Michael encourages Matt to sue for wrongful dismissal.

Fran's been going out with a rich, handsome Jewish doctor named Julius Kimble. After only 2 weeks, he asks her to marry him. Although having some doubts about it, Fran accepts after Sylvia pushes her into doing it. When they go out to buy Fran a ring, Julius disappears and takes the very expensive ring with him. Turns out he was just a thief and now Fran is left all alone. She blames her mother for the disaster and the Fine women end up going to a shrink to solve their problems. Back at home, both Mr. Sheffield and Fran complain about the lack of single attractive people for them to date.

Neri and Mera are taken back to the island, with Winston, Mick and Zoe acting as decoys to keep UBRI away. Final goodbyes are said as the girls board the spacecraft for home but after the ship leaves, one person has stayed behind. Neri says she must stay to ""finish father's work.""
