A judge has a meeting with Alex and Walker where he has discovered something interesting, but just before he can tell them, a helicopter comes in and the man inside kills the judge. Fortunately Walker jumps into the helicopter and pulls the killer out with him. The killer, whose name is Sonny, reveals that a prominent businessman named DL Dade ordered the hit and also reveals that he is an underworld figure. With Sonny's help, Walker and Trivette begin to take down Dade's illegal operations but it still doesn't get anywhere because there is no way to connect these operations to Dade, and the men they arrested refuse to talk. Afterwards at the safehouse, Sonny is watching an adult video and reveals to Alex that at one time Dade was in the adult video business and there was this one girl named Candy Delight who was the star. Just after Alex leaves, a helicopter with one of Dade's men armed with a rocket launcher kills Sonny and the guards watching him. CD wonders how they found Sonny

Beau wants to return to active duty. A woman recognizes Munch from an old picture that is hanging in an art gallery across from the precinct. To Munch's embarassment he discovers that an old girlfriend, who's a photographer, is displaying an old picture of him in the buff at her gallery showing. Pembleton and Meldrick investigate a random shooting of a woman, and they clash over where the weapon may have been fired. They also find a woman who's shot her boyfriend and stuffed him in the freezer. Beau accompanies Gee on an investigation and must come to grips with his inability to look at a dead body the same way.

Dr. Ross treats an abused young girl. Carol receives bad news about her attempt to adopt Tatiana. Morganstern informs Mark he's leaving for Boston and will be strongly recommending Mark to his replacement, leaving a surprised Mark uncertain as to his job prospects.
