Season 3, Episode 2
The aunt of Bertie's poet friend, Rocky, wants him to go out and live the New York nightlife and write her weekly letters so that she might experience it vicariously. Rocky, however can't stand anything but his cabin the the wilderness of Long Island, so Jeeves agrees to undergo the rigors and report back to Rocky. Another friend, Bicky, loves New York, but his uncle thinks he should be in Colorado. Jeeves suggests a bit of deception on his part as well, which works fine until relatives of both friends show up in New York, both believing that Bertie's flat belongs to their respective nephews. Solutions involve a lot of running about acting silly and quite a bit of handshaking as well.
Road to Avonlea
Season 3, Episode 13
It is heartbreak at Green Gables when Marilla Cuthbert dies suddenly, and leaves no will. The assumption is that Anne would always inherit Green Gables from the Cuthberts. When Gilbert Blythe arrives in Avonlea and tries to buy Green Gables it is too late, one of the neighbors has bought it. Rachel Lynde and the children are now homeless, unless Rachel can make friends with the new owner. A man who ""hates"" Rachel. Rachel has to learn to ""mind her tongue"" if she wants a to continue to live at Green Gables.
Lovejoy

Some old sketches put Lovejoy and Jane on a trail which takes them up to Scotland, where they uncover a plot by another antiques dealer to con one of Jane's friends. At home, Eric is involved with a young woman with some unsavory relations, but she also has an antique mirror to sell. Lovejoy and Jane are moving closer to romance... but who is the girl Lovejoy keeps seeing in the woods?

The Planeteers are shocked to see a mother whale killed during a whaling expedition engineered by Blight and Plunder. They are even more shocked to learn that it's legal, thanks to a loophole in the international laws that allow whaling for "research." They set out to prove that Blight's research for a "whale repellent" is bogus and are helped by a young Japanese teenager who is trying to dissuade his whaler father from working for the villains.

A gunman enters through the unlocked door, holds a rifle to her head, and forces her to empty the cash register. Brenda puts on a brave front for family and friends, but suffers nightmares and behaves erratically. She has a flashback during a midterm, screams, and runs out of the classroom. A psychiatrist helps her begin to deal with her fears. Brenda reluctantly views a police line-up, resulting in the arrest of the 17-year-old gunman. Lena cannot keep her grades high enough to maintain her engineering scholarship. She writes an essay about her father for an English assignment. Professor Foster is so impressed that he enters her work in a contest. She wins the award and receives a journalism scholarship. Lena is mortified when her father shows up for the awards ceremony. He is not the Vietnam vet and former Black Panther she described in her essay, but rather a hustler who is constantly in debt. Mr. James approves of Lena's actions, as he feels that she was just doing what was necessary to survive. Lena fears that she is just like her father, but he states that she can choose her own path. She confesses to Professor Foster, who was already aware of her duplicity. He says that she is a good writer and helps her get an English scholarship. Whitley alienates one of Byron's potential benefactors by wearing a fur coat. She brushes up on the issues in the hopes of becoming an asset to Byron's campaign.

The union goes on strike and as tensions inside the Sloan factory rise, Gina's resourcefulness keeps the situation from turning violent. Abe relents when he goes to argue with his striking son.
