Lydia is stuck competing against Clare in her school's golf P.E. course (hey, it's a private school, after all), and Clare just happens to be the reigning teen golf champ of Peaceful Pines. In an attempt to help Lydia out, BJ teleports Clare to a Neitherworld country club, where she is turned into a golf trophy. Now Beetlejuice and Lydia have to win the golf tournament and get Clare back.

Charise commutes to her old school because she thinks that West Beverly is full of snobs. While Charise is having dinner with Brandon, her boyfriend Devo tries to visit her house and bring her flowers. He is harassed and beaten by the security patrol for no reason. Brandon wants to write a story about the incident, but initially receives little cooperation from Devo, Robbie and Charise. Meanwhile, as the new school year starts, Stephanie is nervous about entering 4th grade, until she meets her new teacher, Mr. Lowry, whom she now has a crush on. Michelle is worried about what kindergarten will be like, until she befriends Teddy, one of her new classmates.
