Later, at a group meeting with the staff and the new boss, Martin learns that there are some advantages to dating your boss. Martin is given a coveted book assignment, and his hated author is transfered to Cindy. Later, Martin receives further rewards for dating his boss.

When D.J. and Stephanie open Danny's eyes to the situation, they give Danny the courage to give Michelle her first punishment. Meanwhile, Jesse buys an expensive engagement ring for Becky, who tries to stop Jesse from selling his Elvis Presley signed guitar in order to pay for the ring.
