An earthquake has left its emotional marks on Stephanie, and now the only thing she wants to do is cling to Danny. Jesse and Joey suggest taking Stephanie to a child psychiatrist. Danny reluctantly follows the suggestion and takes Stephanie to Doctor Mary-Ann Steiner, who uses a picture Stephanie drew to get her to explain her behavior -- on the day of the earthquake, Danny was three hours late getting home from work, and Stephanie thought she'd never see Danny again, and she's been clinging to Danny ever since, so she'll always know where he is. Doctor Steiner helps Stephanie come up with a solution to her problem. Meanwhile, D.J. wants to hide from the world when she gets her first zit -- right on her nose.
Kim learns that her father has been shot in the line of duty. Whitley drives her to Ohio to see him, with Dwayne and Freddie along for moral support. Kim visits her father's hospital room and makes peace with him. After Mr. Reese begins to recover, Whitley, Dwayne and Freddie have to race back to campus for midterms. Freddie reveals that she had been unsure of the existence of God until she prayed at Kim's request; having her prayer answered was a life-changing experience. She questions her newfound faith after Mr. Reese experiences complications and is left paralyzed from the waist down.

Maid Marian and her Merry Men is a British children's sitcom created and written by Tony Robinson and directed by David Bell. It began in 1989 on BBC One and ran for four series, with the last episode shown in 1994. The show was a partially musical comic retelling of the legend of Robin Hood, placing Maid Marian in the role of leader of the Merry Men, and reducing Robin to an incompetent ex-tailor. The programme was much appreciated by children and adults alike, and has been likened to Blackadder, not only for its historical setting and the presence of Tony Robinson, but also for its comic style. It is more surreal than Blackadder, however, and drops even more anachronisms. Many of the show's cast such as Howard Lew Lewis, Forbes Collins, Ramsay Gilderdale and Patsy Byrne had previously appeared in various episodes of Blackadder alongside Robinson. Like many British children's programmes, there is a lot of social commentary sneakily inserted, as well as witty asides about the Royal family, buses running on time, etc. Many of the plots spoofed or referenced film and television shows including other incarnations of Robin Hood in those mediums.
