Season 1, Episode 39
Haggar locates and takes control of the Omega Comet, a legendary black-hole-like structure which crushes and destroys anything in its path, and sends it for Arus. Though Voltron redirected it once after a decade of trying, the Voltron Force are forced to race against time to move it themselves after they get Romelle's warning. Seeing Allura's cousin's loyalty to them, Lotor mentions that a certain control-function will help them in front of Romelle, and she relays the information to them. But it was a trap Lotor had her lure them into, and they crash-land and are stranded upon the comet without power. The Galaxy Alliance can send no reinforcements thanks to Zarkon's fighting. But Bandor goes against orders to stop guarding the power-supply he was posted in front of to repay his comrades. The Voltron Force cannot escape, and conclude that Bandor must use his arsenal to strike the comet away from Arus - though they know it means self-sacrifice.

Tommy Vale, a barroom bookie finds himself in a curious predicament: a man comes in who can't lose. As the story unravels, he finds out that his opponent is Lacey, a man who went broke gambling with Vale in the past. Now Lacey is back from the dead, with tips from the other side, and is unbeatable. In a final ghoulish wager, Lacey bets that Vale will die at a particular time, and he's never been wrong. But the clock chimes and Vale is still alive. Lacey is forced to depart, and Vale reveals that he set the clock ahead five minutes, then dies right on time.

Their idea: Tiamat - Venger's mortal enemy. When they disregard Dungeon Master's next mission to embark on their own, he advises against it and then indicates where they can find Tiamat. A place called the Dragon's Graveyard, where old dragons go to die. The kids then start their journey to the graveyard, but not without the presence of Venger in the midsts.
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe

The Sunstone, which is held within the Temple of the Sun, is running out of power and must be recharged, in The Ceremony of the Sun, which takes place once a century. The Sunstone's keepers invite He-Man and his companions to the ceremony, but on the way they face trouble from Negator, who wants the Sunstone's power for himself, and even more inconveniently a Trollan called Prankster who is deliberately making a nuisance of himself and will only go home if they can guess his name.

A battle with the Decepticons leaves Optimus Prime damaged. Several Autobots journey to Cybertron to retrieve a vital part that will help repair him, but the Decepticons take advantage of the situation and launch an attack.

Merman attacks a seafaring hermit called Jacob with some mechanical sea monsters, but his attack fails and He-Man, Teela and the Widgets rescue Jacob. Merman thinks he could use the Widgets' Coridite to make his mechanical demons stronger, so he sets up a scheme to steal the Coridite. He-Man and his friends must stop Merman, with the help of Jacob.
