Endora claims that Darrin has no sense of humor, so she puts a spell on him, turning him into a comedian. His client, Mr. Jameson, does not like Darrin's new Def Comedy Jam phase when he gets a migrane headache. Darrin discovers that Endora has hexed him, and she gives him another spell- this time, making jokes of anything sad or discouraging. The Jamesons come by and at th very mention of Jamison's wife's bursitis, Darrin starts laughing. Thinking that Darrin's insensitivity will cost Larry and him the account, the Jamesons think otherwise and give McMann and Tate the account.

A parole officer famed for his hard line against drug pushers begins to fear for his life after a shooting. The line of suspects, however, as well as including one of his current clients, also seems to include that client's lawyer, and even the parole officer himself.

UFO
Season 1, Episode 19
Foster is abducted by aliens from a health spa and is being taken out into space, presumably back to the alien homeworld. However, the UFO was damaged and returns to the moon, crashing there. While the Moonbase personnel try to free Foster of the alien environmental suit, Foster wakes up in the steam room at the health spa. The episode begs explanation for how Foster dreamed in such orderly detail, including Carlin missing a shot and Straker angry at the missed shot, and Dr. Jackson's off-line comments to Straker before they go onto a visual link to Moonbase to guide them through removal of Foster's alien helmet.
Bonanza

The only person who can get Dusty out of jail is a professional fighter who will not return to Virginia City, so Joe stays on the man's heels no matter where he goes.

They have to hide the magic evidence because Darrin's mom is coming. When Phyllis does come, Darrin pushes her upstairs so Sam can call Dr. Bombay to get rid of the bikes. But her hiccups come back when she and Phyllis are shopping. Instead of bikes popping up, an item in the store disappears! When Phyllis and Samantha are doomed to go to jail, Dr. Bombay comes back and gives her the right spell.

An old woman whose handbag has been snatched asks Ironside to take her case. Moved by his friendship with her late husband, he agrees, and finds a lonely old woman reaching out for somebody to share her long days.
