Yu Tu sees his teacher and his wife in the restaurant that he and Jing Jing is in, and he invites them to eat with them. The conversation turns sour when his resignation is mentioned, and Yu Tu gets mad at Jing Jing when she defends him. Afterwards, Yu Tu receives an urgent call to go on a business trip to fix a problem with J-X, so they don't see each other for some time.

While playing with other gamers, Yu Tu records the game to help Qiao Jing Jing learn how to analyze the game better.
After Yu Tu has a somewhat awkward dinner with his friends, he asks if Jing Jing wants to go to a movie. Jing Jing picks a movie, but then realize it might make Yu Tu think of unpleasant memories. And even though they're careful, Jing Jing is still caught on camera by a fan. While Jing Jing and Yu Tu are watching a livestream at her house, Ling arrives with the makeup artists and stylists.
Jing Jing secures a role in a new movie and takes joy in being asked to gain a bit more weight for the role. She decides to introduce Yu Tu to Ling and brings him to Ling's house where he meets her close colleagues for the first time. She also sets a goal to level up in rank in the game.
