Nine dogs and their human partners remain in the competition of their lives. Their Costa Rican experience continues as our packs travel away from the coastal beaches of Costa Rica, to the inner-city life in San Jose. As the competition heats up and strengths and weaknesses start to emerge, some pack mates start emerging as fierce competitors and others find it difficult to fit in.
Eleven teams embark on their first international experience and head to Mexico City. Two dogs find love, as the packs learn how to work together to navigate the language barrier and new surroundings. They'll discover the country’s main sport, in a game of soccer, experience the culture at a 'Day of the Dead' parade and participate in a practice earthquake rescue drill, to stay in the competition.
Ten dogs and ten human partners remain as The Pack heads to the lush jungle of Costa Rica. With all of nature's glory around them, the packs will experience "pura vida" with challenges filled with adrenaline, thrills and adventure. Teams will face fears, have fun and be reminded of what they came to do. One pack will face elimination and thus, one team will see their journey come to an end.
The eight remaining dog teams head to Vienna, Austria. To avoid elimination, one pack will leave an indelible musical mark on the city famous for it while the other follows in the traditions of the country’s famous hunting dogs. In the final challenge, the dogs abilities to perform tricks for wieners will determine who crosses the finish line and whose journey will come to an end.
Six remaining teams arrive at a winter wonderland in the snowy mountains of Switzerland. The Swiss Alps will take their breath away, as they compete for a spot in the top five. The packs will face a number of challenges from ice curling, dog-sledding, filling barrels of whiskey, and rescuing avalanche victims. Their winter globe will be shaken and for one team, the journey will come to an end.
There are only five teams left as The Pack heads to Paris, the city of lights, love, fashion & food. The Packs will immerse themselves in the rich Parisian culture on a runway, in a kitchen and in the cafe lined streets of Paris. Friendships have been formed amongst the final five teams and it is getting harder to say goodbye, but unfortunately for one team, their journey will come to an end.
The seven remaining dog/partner teams make their way to Florence, Italy. The Packs join Lindsey and Lucy for a true Italian dinner. In the Pack Challenge, one pack will play a good old fashioned game of "tug" while the other pack will play a new version of "fetch". In the elimination, one pack will put their scenting skills to the test in order to avoid being the next team to be eliminated.
The final four arrive in London, where driving on the left side of the road isn't the only thing that feels backwards. With only two teams left on each pack, these match-ups are in for a battle royal and a surprise no one sees coming. After a shake up in the Pack Challenge, only one team is safe from elimination.
The final three teams head to the Western frontier of Utah where they'll face off in one last epic showdown. Dogs and partners will take on the toughest challenges yet as all their skills are put to the test. From dinosaurs and speed boats to digging and gold, it's an all-terrain race to the finish line where one team will claim a life changing prize for themselves and their charity.
