This time, however, Drew's first suggestion is a real surprise. The house also holds some unwanted glitches that add time and money to the redesign. As Sandra and Kyle struggle with living above the renos, Jonathan compensates with some retail therapy. But when a planned living room feature is threatened, the couple could start to regret their decision unless Jonathan can work his usual magic in time for move-in day.

Kevin McCloud follows a project to renovate and extend a classic 1920s cinema in Thorne, South Yorkshire. With little knowledge of restoration, Gwyn and Kate boldly set about turning the dilapidated building into a family home using masses of concrete after taking advice from an architect friend. The couple are hoping to create a hydraulic glass wall that opens up one side of the house to form a UV-filtered canopy, and there are also plans for a white roof extension that resembles a diving board.

Due to construction at Jase and Missy's house, Willie and Korie invite Jase and the kids to live with them while Missy is out of town visiting friends. What seems like a good gesture of Willie and Korie's part turns into conflict between two brothers due to a lack of personal space. Then, what begins in the duck call room as a series of "Gentlemen's Bets," turns into a series of bets outside the Duck Call Room as well, eventually leading them to the ultimate challenge at Phil and Kay's house--helping Phil get a wheelbarrow down from a tree.
