The locals' reverence for nature and all it provides extends to more recent residents of the state as well, including locavore chef Eric Bechard, who was thrown in jail after a fight broke out over the origins of a pig, after it was determined that it was from out of state. Post catch, Ben pan-sears ling cod at Thistle in McMinnville, as well as preparing crab cakes and crab cocktails at Saffron Salmon in Newport.

St Thomas a Becket church in Somerset is on the heritage critical list and badly in need of rescue. A flood in 1968 led to the church's eventual deconsecration and it is just one of many churches in Britain that has been declared redundant. Decline in church-going and amalgamation of parishes have put a huge swathe of our architectural heritage in peril. Working their way up the property ladder, newly-weds Paul and Laura spotted the church in 2007 and decided this was the family home for them. They purchased the listed church with plans to turn it into a three-bedroom home. As the church is transformed, its past emerges - the dark times which marked its end and its links to an architectural movement that would change style forever, connecting it to the design of some of the greatest buildings in the country.

A robot,designed by Leonardo but recreated by Piero as a fire-breathing demon,is on the loose in Florence until Piero,who has orchestrated its retreat, is declared a hero and asked to take over power from the duke. At last Leonardo appreciates that this is the culmination of Piero's theft of his note-book as a means to rule Florence. Accordingly he makes sure that during the 'demon's' next outing Piero is discredited and the duke reinstated. This however alienates him from dim Lorenzo,who cannot see his father's villainy.
