Workers laboring to build a bridge across the Don River make a grisly discovery – entombed in the swamplands bordering the river are the well-preserved bodies of a man and a woman. Called to the scene, Murdoch and Ogden quickly determine that the couple was murdered. When a third body is then discovered, Murdoch has to re-evaluate the nature of the crime.

Adrianna and Navid share a friendly conversation which doesn’t go over well with their significant others, Gia and Lila. An argument between Gia and Adrianna results in Adrianna walking in on Gia and her ex-girlfriend. Liam receives a surprise visit from his father, Finn, just released from prison. Though Ivy has warned Ryan that her mother is trouble, he continues to date Laurel.

Poor Ethan can’t get into the Train Show without his ticket, so using their mighty math powers, the Team scales the mountain, rescues the ticket and returns it safely to Ethan.

This episode has five storylines: When the hospital is sent into lock-down mode due to a missing infant, all of the doctors must remain where they are, leaving Foreman and Taub in the file room, Wilson and Thirteen in the cafeteria playing truth or dare, House in a room with a patient, and Chase with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Cameron, as Cuddy tries to help police locate the infant. This episode is one of the show's rare instances when no medical mystery is presented, though House still deals with his "patient of the week".
