Season 1, Episode 14
Annabeth tries to convince the mother of a man who confesses to the murders of three people to testify against her son after a judge rules the blood found in the defendant's home is inadmissible in court. The defendant's attorney argues in court that his client did not commit any crimes but confessed to the killings because he is fascinated by crime and police investigations. Annabeth's case against the defendant begins to crumble after one woman he confesses killing turns up alive and admits she ran away from her parents to be with her boyfriend. Annabeth tries to convince the defendant's mother to testify against her son in order to salvage her case and bring the defendant to justice.

However, when it turns out that the items they want cost a lot of shiny rocks, they decide to get jobs at the mall to try to get the shiny rocks they need. However, things take a turn for the worse when Brandy starts to skip work whenever she gets the chance.

Brandy is upset that Mr. Whiskers decided to throw a party because their house doesn't look good enough. The two head off to the Mayan Mall in hopes of getting some material to redecorate their home, though the two of them soon find each other at odds when their sense of style clashes with one another. Brandy & Mr. Whiskers split their house into two in order to see who had the best sense of style, though Brandy becomes jealous when Mr. Whiskers wins a contest and has his side of the house completely remodeled.

After receiving various expensive parting gifts Jordan and David decide to crash bar mitzvahs of people to whom they do not know in order to receive more gifts. Before long it's time for David's bar mitzvahs but Jordan comes to a dilemma because this happens to be the same day of a very wealthy boy's bar mitzvahs. So Jordan must beside between friendship or material possessions.

Ash is also working hard trying to help Sceptile regain its ability to use Grass-type attacks after breaking its heart. When Drew shows up, May finds out he didn't send her the letter. Later, while training on the beach, she meets a girl named Brianna who reveals that she sent the letter and rose to May. When Brianna finds out May knows Drew, she grows embarrassed as she has a crush on Drew and intended the letter and Rose to be sent to him. When she finally meets Drew, Brianna claims that she will beat May in the contest and win Drew's respect and love! Meanwhile, Jessie also enters the contest with James' Mime Jr.
