When she ultimately learns what she will turn out like after the work has been finished, she decides to give up on her original plan and asks the doctors to schedule her for a facelift the next morning. Matt is concerned about Ava, who seems obviously depressed. He suggests they go away to Paris and start a new life together, which she reluctantly accepts after some convincing. Matt goes to McNamara-Troy to steal drugs for her to take with them. Christian finds him, and gets upset when he learns Matt is going to Paris. Christian goes to have a talk with Ava, and when trying to make a point using sex, he learns that Ava is really a transsexual. Julia, Sean, and Christian spend the night researching, and trace their way to Maryland and a Gender Reassignment center.

The search for the murderer leads them to Florida, where they start looking for another woman who mysteriously disappeared after going to work. One of the clues they have is the old manual for good wifes.

When Carmen claims she should be able to do to her room what she wants, since she is an adult, George concocts a plan to get her to give up that thought. But his plan soon backfires when Carmen doesn't relent and even resorts to getting a roommate who is a little over the edge.

Meanwhile, Harold and Rose question Bright's euphoria over being selected "employee of the month" and decide it's time for some parental intervention. Dr. Abbott becomes worried that his son Bright is settling too little in life when taking a job at a restaurant. Lastly, Andy treats a patient who needs a transplant, but won't tell his wife.

Season 3, Episode 3
The CSIs must find the killer after a young woman is pushed in front of a moving bus. Alexx finds a bruise shaped like a hand imprint on the victim's back, proving that she was pushed in front of the bus, and her boyfriend, Jay Seaver, is the prime suspect. When one of Jay's office rivals also turns up dead, Jay reveals that he has a psychotic stalker, Claudia, who he thinks might kill to please him. However, when Jay hires a lawyer to protect Claudia, Horatio suspects that Jay may be more involved than they thought. Later, a man's body is discovered down an elevator shaft in a nearby building, and there is evidence to link the victims to a common killer. Meanwhile, Calleigh's father seeks her help when he fears that he may have killed someone after a night of drinking, and Horatio assigns a new CSI, Ryan Wolfe, to the case.

Mona pretends that Drew is her son in the hopes of winning over an artist that she is trying to sign who is a single mother. After her plan fails miserably, she suggests that Delicious stop chasing after artists that they have no chance of signing and instead conduct a talent search. Spencer continually bad-mouths all of Mona's ideas, and the two snipe at each other. Adam advises Spencer to finally deal with the tension between Mona and him before it destroys their friendship. Meanwhile, Dee Dee obsesses over trying to build a cabinet without any assistance; and Big Dee Dee drives Charles crazy when she tries to get over her depression by scheduling lots of ""quality time"" for them as a couple.

Meanwhile, Toni battles constant morning sickness.

Elsewhere, Mary books Michael Buble (guest starring as himself) to sing for the wedding; but, has to wrangle him in when he refuses to sing, instead wanting to perform comedy or a mime act.

Moze changes when she moves to the front of Science class and does so good that the teacher reverses the room, making Moze in back.. Gordy helps Cookie create the ultimate bus bounce. Tryouts: Ned tries to ascend to the basketball team and tries to become taller so he'll make the team. Moze goes out for volleyball, basketball, track, but must decide between them. With some help from Ned, she decides which is right for her. Cookie tumbles into cheerleading and demands equal rights after being kicked out.

Rosemary and Laura are called to Lyvedon manor to restore the now derelict wall gardens by the request of the garden's owner Martin Frazer. As a source of cheap labor to assisst Rosemary and Laura work on the gardens, Martin enlists the help of a group of inmates from the local prison. Initially Rosemary is suspicious of working with prisoners but soon gets used to it, but a greater shock awaits her when she witnesses Martin's odd cousin Jim jumping into the local fast flowing river, killing himself. Soon after at the local market, Rosemary is shocked to see Jim walking around, despite his body being found and identified by Martin himself... (Includes Parts 1 and 2)
