Extra Credit: Ned needs to get at least a B- or his mom will get really mad at him. Unfortunately, his average is a C+ in all classes. When asking his teachers how to bump his grade up, they all say the same thing: Extra Credit. Now he needs to complete four Extra Credit Assignments in just a few days. Meanwhile,Moze wants her mark bumped up to an A+, so she designs a very large Volcano and Cookie gets a Credit card that is to be used for emergencies, but he uses it for general purposes.

The Tennysons stay in as it rains outside, and Ben plays a video game to pass the time by. When Gwen decides to join in, Ben is jealous of how she's a far superior player. Instead, Ben decides to transform to Upgrade, and merges with the game console. Gwen makes an attempt at shaking him off, but suddenly, a lightning strike causes them to transfer into the video game itself. The only way Ben can use the Omnitrix is to find coins with the different aliens on it. To get out, they must find the Upgrade coin before an evil being uses it to escape into the real world.

The team are called in to investigate when a lifeguard is eaten by a Mosasaur at a swimming pool. Cutter discovers that they are dealing with a mobile Anomaly when the Mosasaur and the lifeguard's vomited remains appear at a reservoir and a cellar floods and is invaded by a Hesperornis. The rest of the team also learn that Helen is alive and on the other side of the Anomaly, and so Cutter is forced to go through and confront the woman his wife has become.

It has just become Springtime in the city and Chef Pisghetti's friends the Balancing Zucchinis are in town. George is excited seeing what they do and he would like to become a Zucchini. But of course, his trying to be like them messes up their practicing for the big show. Later on during the show, The Zucchinis volunteer Chef Pisghetti to be in an act of theirs. But Gnocchi, always going to the chef whenever she sees him, starts walking across a tightrope to their act upsetting one of the Zucchini's who is allergic to cats. It is up to George to walk across the tight rope and retrieve Gnocchi.

Lange, a former professional baseball player acquitted of his wife's murder who had written a book hypothesising how he would have committed the murder. Green and Cassady follow the trail of evidence from Lange to Gerald Stockwell, a former ghostwriter on the book, but Stockwell tries to clear himself by offering McCoy and Rubirosa proof that one of the jurors in Lange's trial was paid off to force an acquittal.
