Jay has to give the man dollars so they can finally enter the restaurant. Once there, they have to wait forever at the bar, where they are forced to buy drinks. Tired of waiting, Michael goes to check what's taking so long for their table, and the hostess makes them wait a little longer. Michael even pushes Kady into the fish pond, hoping that will make Jay want to go home, but no. Instead, she buys a dollar sweatshirt for the girl. A guy in charge of a rival fertilizer firm to LuthorCorp's talks an EPA investigator into commiting suicide, then arrives in Metropolis. He is intent on buying up the Kent farm and using the land to build a rival company to Lex's. After shaking hands with the man, Jonathan Kent inexplicably agrees to sell. Lex offers to have his lawyers help. Meanwhile, Clark befriends a local recluse. It turns out that the recluse and Lex's rival were both salesmen who were caught in a car accident and exposed to kryptonite. They both gained the same power of persuasion on anyone they touched, as the recluse graphically demonstrates to Clark by having Chloe kiss him Lex's rival finally manages to shake hands with Lex, and convince him to try and gun down Clark. Clark manages to knock out Lex and the recluse takes out his former partner, convincing him to shoot himself. The recluse decides to go back into the world, but not before telling Clark that he shouldn't hide from his powers either.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Season 6, Episode 13
The Troika's latest escapade to make Warren's ex-girlfriend Katrina their willing slave goes horribly wrong when she is accidentally killed. The trio use magical and demonic forces to make Buffy think that she has killed Katrina - and it works. With finding out the truth about her resurrection and believing she killed an innocent girl, Buffy's world begins to fall apart.

Eric and Donna both start dating other people Jackie sets Donna up with Kelso's older brother Casey, while Eric has his pick of the girls at school after being named Point Place High's most eligible bachelor. Fez thinks that he's finally going to lose his virginity, and looks for a place that he and Rhonda can use for that purpose. Bob becomes rich again and Red buys a Corvette.
