Lilo finds the pod for Experiment #509, which is a plant experiment. Lilo wants to activate to find it's true place, but Jumba won't let her and locks it up. However, when she makes a bet with Mertle, she breaks the lock and activates #509 and dubs it Sprout. But things get out of control at the Kauai Town Fair, and Stitch has a showdown with a cowboy.

Rumours run rampant at the Lodge when Winston gets an earring. Instead of beef jerky, Red decides to make turkey jerky. Red and Walter use dynamite to try to remove an old tree stump. Red demonstrates an innovative way to get the Possum Van out of a mud hole and shows you how to convert an old wrecked car into an RV camper trailer. Van has a big away game coming up, but his superstistions for winning are getting on Cheyenne's nerves. The two of them ask Barabara Jean to watch Elizabeth while they're gone. After learning that Barabra Jean once lost Henry at the mall, Reba tries to take Elizabeth for herself. When that doesn't work, Reba offers to go to the zoo with Henry, BJ, and Elizabeth. At the end, Reba is forced to admit some of her feelings to Barabra Jean, who in turn, gloats in a Broadway-style song. Brock, Kyra, and Jake all only make 2 appearances in the show.

A chance meeting in the elevator sparks a new friendship between J.D. and the mysterious Danni whose ongoing dialogue about her ex forces J.D. to talk about his feelings for Elliot. Carla's brother Marco comes to visit, but he still hasn't forgiven Turk for mistaking him for a valet at their mother's funeral. Unfortunately, Turk can't even apologize because Marco can't speak anything but Spanish. At the hospital, Dr. Cox relishes his new job promotion but is surprised when J.D. doesn't follow his lead in contradicting Dr. Kelso's orders.
