Season 1, Episode 3
Free for All is a 2003 animated series that aired on Showtime. The series was created by Brett Merhar. It followed the day-to-day life of Johnny Jenkins, an innocent 19-year-old college kid who has to deal with a bitter, cigarette smoking grandmother and a coarse, sometimes-violent, alcoholic father, in a rather dysfunctional family. Also, he lives next door to Paula, the love of his life and the attractive girl next door. Clay Zeeman is his somewhat abusive so called "best friend" who won millions of U.S. dollars after he faked an accident at a taco restaurant. He has a drug-addicted ferret for a pet, and he's named Angus. Omar is his warm Indian friend, who is just as innocent as Johnny himself is. He may be even stupider on some level. The show was developed for television by Merriwether Williams, the head writer for seasons 1-4 of Spongebob Squarepants. WIlliams was also the show runner and head writer. There were seven episodes that aired over the summer of 2003, the last ending on a cliff-hanger. However, despite favorable reviews from critics, the show had very low ratings, mainly due to poor promotion and the fact that the original source material was not a huge success in the first place. Showtime cancelled the animated skein shortly after the last episode aired. The show has since fallen into extreme obscurity. No DVD/VHS/Laser Disc release has been announced yet. The entire series is available on iTunes and Amazon.com.

To begin the episode, the teams have to drive 78 miles from their pit stop to a hot springs and cross a rickety bridge to get their clue. All teams arrive in time for the 6:30 A.M. opening and a footrace is on. The teams are then given a clue to drive a 145 miles to an oil plantation. This quickly leads to confusion, with two teams getting lost. Kelly and Jon realize they have no idea where they're going and choose to opt for the Fast Forward. They feel it is a safe bet, as they don't figure it would be to any of the other teams' benefit to go for the Fast Forward. Unbeknownst to them, though, Reichen and Chip have already accidentally headed down the road for the Fast Forward and, once they realize what they've done, they decide to continue down that road to claim it. While this occurs, Jon and Al have made their way to the Detour. Called ""Chop / Haul,"" the teams are given a choice between chopping down fruits to find their clue in an envelope, or hauling 25 heavy bundles of fruit int

May enters Beautifly in the beauty contest, but Team Rocket is too late to enter their Dustox. At the competitions, the person in line right before May is none other than her rival Drew. Drew's Roselia gives an excellent performance, netting him an extremely high score. May is more determined than ever to beat Drew. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is busy holding a "charity drive" scam for PokéBlocks. A little old man stops to talk to them about PokéBlocks. The contest is heating up with a Milotic stealing the show. May is up again in the contest and she and her Beautifly toss a disc back and forth, like they practiced before. In the next round, she has to battle Drew who defeats her. He then looses to the contestant with the Milotic. May and Drew part on good terms and the scene ends with the old man still intently talking to a slumbering Team Rocket about PokéBlocks.

Outgoing wing-governor, Karen, does her best to save her job while working out her notice. Jim gets impatient with Tina because she isn't getting his photographic evidence quick enough. Noreen Biggs returns to Larkhall and is ill... will she keep a financial promise to Sylvia?! After advice from Noreen, Tina decided that Jim was using here and so helped Yvonne get evidence of her and Jim at it...which Yvonne promptly gave to Karen! Neil finally told the G-Wing staff the truth about his marriage to Di. Sylvia got what she deserved from Noreen while Di wasted no time in finding a new name to write on her mirror!
