Denny pretended to be interested in Al so that she could get information for Yvonne - she succeeded and taped Al's 'confession', landing Al and Maxi in deep water and to Yvonne finally being cleared!

It's Kyle and Andy's birthday, and Andy is feeling a little left out of his own special day. They decide to take him to a restaurant that serves a 4,5 lbs steak, and Jim offers to pay for the check because Cheryl isn't feeling equal to Dana, who's spending a lot of money on their kids. On the table, Dana says she doesn't mind paying the check because she makes more money than Jim, which enfuriates him. He buys a donkey for the girls so they can know he's the one they should go to if they want stuff (in this case, they wanted a poney, but "they'll never know the difference"), and it isn't until the donkey ruins a painting Dana bought for Kyle's room that they talk it out and settle their issues.

As the spring semester begins, Lauren tells Ben that she is pregnant, and that he is the father. She is prepared to raise the child alone. Professor Hodges asks Ben and Trevor to act as research assistants for him. Trevor convinces Ben to take a paternity test. Ben becomes distracted while awaiting the test results, and forgets to check Hodges' experiment. Hodges decides to replace him. Ben learns that he is the father. He confronts Lauren about keeping the news from him for so long. Although he is torn, he feels that he cannot take part in the child's life. He gets a second chance from Hodges by assuring him that he has eliminated all distractions. Ben finally shares the truth about the pregnancy with a shocked Felicity. Felicity and Owen try unsuccessfully to get galleries to look at their work. Felicity's mother visits and announces that she is going to get her real-estate license. Jack listens to the show and is horrified when his parents discuss their sex life. Jack goes away on a camping trip with his school while Ozzy, Sharon and Kelly are in New York. Ozzy appears on Late Night With Conan O'Brien and MTV's TRL, where Kelly joins him for a promo. Jack hates the camp, and gets in trouble for throwing rocks at other campers and arguing with the counselors. Sharon tries to help Kelly's best friend, Robert, shop for a gift for her 17th birthday. The family throws a big party in Kelly's honor. She goes out with her friends after the party and winds up getting a tattoo, which she unsuccessfully tries to hide from Sharon.
