Jonny and Plank are ready for bed, when suddenly he finds the Eds stuck in his bedroom wall. Jonny won't let them lose until they tell him how it happened, so they each give a piece of their story on how they escaped the wrath of the Kankers from their own skewed perspective. In the end, Jonny falls asleep before he pulls the Eds loose, and the Kankers show up to finish off the Eds.

Season 11, Episode 24
A woman's murder leads the police to discover the actual target was a reporter who did a story about improprieties in a recent senatorial election. Carmichael can't get the reporter to reveal her sources for a story that contains allegations that the vote was fixed and ballots tampered with, even though the reporter's life is at risk. Without the source, McCoy and Carmichael have a difficult time making a case against the Senator, who they believe has ties to the mob and ordered the hit on the reporter. The case hinges on 2000 missing ballots from the vote that were stolen by the mob. Once the ballots are found, there is a big court battle about whether or not the ballots should be counted. McCoy believes that the ballots will show Benton's motive for ordering the hit, but an appellate court won't allow it, so their case is virtually dead. In the end, McCoy is able to convince the reporter to reveal her source and have him testify against the senator.

He runs out of the new store site in a panic after the mannequins stage a revolt. Kate, Lewis and Oswald search for Drew. Mimi fails to share his whereabouts with Mr. Wick, and gets him to appoint her the new manager of the women's store. Lewis and Oswald learn that Drew is in the institution. Only family is allowed to visit, so they check themselves in as patients so that they can talk to him. Drew plots to escape and reclaim his job. He leaves a message on his machine telling Kate what has happened to the guys and asking her to show up with a van the next day. Although they have stolen the master keys, Oswald and Lewis insist on breaking out by building a bomb and blowing a hole in the wall. Most of the other patients escape with them, but a large patient restrains Drew and keeps him from leaving. Kate doesn't think that he has made it to the van, but Oswald insists otherwise. Mary is having trouble dealing with what she has just seen - Dick transforming Liam into a monkey, which he had done to stop him doing the same to the Earth's population. Dick consults the other Solomons and they decide that the best approach is to deny everything. Meanwhile, Mary meets with Nina and Judith, who confess that they believe Dick to be an international terrorist, so when Dick and Mary next meet, she demands that he tell her the truth about himself. So, Dick tells Mary that he and the others are aliens. Mary's reaction is first disbelief, then shock, and then she finds it sexy to be dating a spaceman. Elsewhere, the local store has been robbed and Sally catches Don hiding in the frozen foods freezer, where he admits that he hid because he was scared. Harry takes a different line and asks the shopkeeper Sam out on a date, but later runs into her working at a posh restaurant, where she instructs him to call her Samantha. Confused, Harry believes that he is dating twins.
