Zim goes on an outing to the downtown area in order to test a new guidance chip he installed in GIR, but when GIR removes the chip before leaving in order to store a cupcake, Zim and GIR are left lost and have to resort to public transport to find their way back. Their journey home is complicated further by Zim temporarily losing his vision by looking at the sun, his disguise being mistaken for that of a bank robber, and his escape from the police being wrecked by GIR replacing his extra rocket fuel with tuna fish.

After losing a cul-de-sac race, Rolf mopes about how he is homesick and misses his old country. Eddy comes up with the scam of a lifetime. He pretends that Ed's shoe is a magic wishgiver. When Rolf asks to use it, Eddy declines until Rolf gives up some change. Rolf wishes to return to his home country, and the stench from Ed's shoe causes him to pass out. He wakes up in an old-world-style village created by the Eds. Edd's Encyclopedia of Old World Culture helped them to create a perfect replica. Eddy is satisfied, but Edd feels bad for Rolf and makes the Eds play along with their scam, so now they have to succumb to Rolf's odd culture. All goes well until a curious Jonny wrecks the whole thing.

While watching Crash Nebula, Timmy wishes for an alien to play with. So, Cosmo and Wanda take a real alien prince - Mark. His parents are furious and travel to Earth to blow it up. Timmy goes to Mark's parents and asks them to convince their son to forget about Vicky, but Timmy must first pass their toughest tests. Marsha is devastated to find out that they'd all been lying to her, and storms out of the restaurant and then the flat.
