After a firefight with Darph Bobo the crew is forced to make an emergency landing on the planed Muldavia 5 (It's not the one with insatiable nymphos either to Chodes chagrin). On the planet Chode finds his long lost (and to him unknown), identical twin, HRH King Regis Philbrick ruler of all Muldavia. The twins decide to swap places, to try out each others life style. Chode soon finds the boring dreary side of being ruler with all the handshaking and baby kissing, and Regis sees the dangers of fighting dark clowns.

While resting by a lake with his friends, Ash polishes his Badge Case and remembers all the Gym Battles he's won so far. Suddenly, a wild Whiscash jumps out and eats the case. Ash dives in to go after it to get his badges back, but nearly drowns. He is saved by a Fishing Master named Sullivan who has spent years trying to catch the giant Whiscash. Determined to retrieve the badges, Ash and the others start fishing. Meanwhile, Team Rocket are also trying to get a hold of the same Whiscash.

Ross and Phoebe chase Rachel to the airport, but end up at the wrong one. They narrowly make it to the right airport, where Ross declares his love for Rachel, but she gets on the plane anyway. A rejected Ross returns home, where he finds a message on his answering machine, revealing that Rachel got off the plane, just as the real thing shows up behind him. They decide to be together. Meanwhile, Chandler and Monica finish packing for their move to the suburbs, and Joey loses Chick Jr. and Duck Jr. in the foosball table.

Meanwhile, Joey gets them a housewarming gift - Chick Jr. and Duck Jr., who unfortunately get trapped inside the foosball table. Also, after their night together, Ross realizes that he's still in love with Rachel and doesn't want her to leave. Other friends convince him to go after her and Phoebe races Ross to the airport in a bid to stop Rachel from leaving for Paris. The six friends prepare to say goodbye and embark on the next chapters of their lives.
