Claudia tries to help Victor with Ross, but he thinks that love should happen by accident. Bailey proposes to Holly. Griffin asks Julia not to see Ned. Daphne comes back for good. Julia goes to Ned's place and they have a fight. Bailey makes too many plans for the wedding and she freaks out. Ned tells Julia what happened to him since they broke up, and Griffin kicks him out of the house. Charlie gets Luke back for Daphne. Holly says she doesn't want to marry Bailey because she loves him. Claudia runs into Victor and Ross on a date. Will proposes to Holly to help Bailey. Julia publishes her book on the Internet and realizes she's not alone.

Meanwhile, Richard hires a new lawyer to replace Billy and assigns him to Billy's cases, which causes Ally to feel extremely conflicted and lash out. Hel, Sarge and Cleo are on a search and rescue mission to aid the researchers of a hidden resistance facility that has been ambushed. As they go to help the scientists, Hel sees an image of her dead father standing on a landing, just before an explosion blows the wall apart. When the smoke clears, a hidden level of the facility is revealed and the trio hurries to help the trapped researchers. Seeing her father again, Hel follows him into an abandoned laboratory, where she tries to touch him and his body ripples as he morphs into a jelly like holding mechanism crackling with energy. The incapacitated Hel is horrified to find Creegan has captured her, using the holographic image of her father. The villain interfaces with the implant, that carries Hel's instructions from the Voice, and his henchmen begin to trace the signal. Davis believes the criminal and is not sure how he is going to answer IAB's questions about what happened, even though he didn't see anything happen. The police station takes on the fire station in a basketball game.

By this, Eric and Annie decide to spend more time with the kids to explain their roles that they've chosen in life.

While at the theater, Gary runs into his old friend, ex-Chicago police detective Marion Crumb, who joined the Shakespearean troupe after the play's director, Bonnie Rousseau, convinced him to pursue his natural born acting talents. While pooling the cast's money to put on the production, Bonnie recruits Gary to replace one of the leads who has had an accident. As Gary throws himself into his new role, the production is threatened -- first by a producer claiming to have rights to the theater and then by an arsonist. As Gary and Marion work together to put out all the fires, damaging evidence arises against Bonnie that reveals she's a scam artist. With hours left before show time, it's up to Gary to stop Bonnie from deserting her devoted troupe -- or else it's curtains for everyone.
