Ellenor and Eugene try to determine what to do with Vogelman. Jimmy and Rebecca defend Jesse Manning, an elderly man accused of plotting to murder his wife. The prosecution's case is based solely on evidence of his step-by-step drawings of the murder and an intricately devised plan for the perfect murder.

Unfortunately, Kel can't seem to hold on to a yo-yo he's purchased for his date, and as a result the guys find themselves with their heads stuck in a fence.

A group of Gotham City youths tell their stories about what they believe the Dark Knight to really be like. One story is reminiscent of the Dick Sprang era comics from the 1950s and/or the 1960s live-action Batman television series. Another is reminiscent of Frank Miller's 1986 graphic novel The Dark Knight Returns.
