Trying to cut a deal after killing an Aryan inmate, Richie Hanlon is forced instead to admit to a murder he didn't commit. Schibetta offers Alvarez a piece of his drug biz in exchange for killing Adebisi. Beecher is forced to meet with the judge who sentenced him; it appears she has a guilty conscience. Beecher's new roommate, Chris Keller, seems to hate Aryans as much as Beecher but appearances can be misleading.

Season 4, Episode 4
A man breaks into a building, and although he tries to escape, he is caught. He then asks for Beckett, saying that he will only talk to him, and no-one else, and although becket doesn't know who he is, he goes to meet him. Once he reaches the place and sees the man, he simply says ""You,"" and punches him. The man then reveals that he is Beckett's father. Beckett takes his Dad to his house, where he tries to exlpain why he ran out on Beckett 10 years ago, after his Mum's funeral. He then explains that he was trying to find out about the whereabouts of a man who is after the two witnesses that will send him to prison. Ed goes to check it out, only to see that the man has escaped. Both of the witnesses are kidnapped and Beckett's Dad finally reveals that he wants to see the man go down because he killed Beckett's Mum. So, Beckett and his Dad go to find the man, as well as the two witnesses and Alex, who got mixed up in the whole thing.

Taylor tries to commit suicide through carbon monoxide poisoning. Jennifer tells Billy that she has known about Sam's affair with Jeff for months. Jennifer reveals her affair with Billy to Jeff and convinces him to tell Samantha. A furious Sam attacks Jennifer, but Billy comes to Jen's defense. Sam moves out of the apartment. Megan takes a job waitressing at the jazz club after the medical practice lets her go. She learns that Michael cost Brett the Philadelphia job by telling Larner about her past profession. She holds this information over Michael's head to stop him from making trouble at the practice

Alvarez knows who raped Glynn's daughter, but refuses to tell the warden. Wangler is making progress at school, but his cellmate, Adebisi, isn't a fan of higher education. When Augustus Hill's judge is convicted of accepting bribes, Said takes up Hill's case to get him a second trial. Diagnosed with cancer, O'Reily goes to a hospital to get a prison-paid lumpectomy, which is cheaper than a mastectomy. The Aryans are losing credibility in Oz, so Schillinger arranges to have a tough named Vogel killed with Beecher being the next on the hit list. Finally, the prison is filled with excitement as a woman, Shirley Bellinger, arrives on death row to be executed.
