Noel shows Felicity a clip from Sean's film in which Ben talked about his love for her. She heads to the loft to apologize, but is furious to find him with Avery. Although he insists that nothing was going on, she refuses to talk to him. Avery asks Ben to join her for a weekend at her family's cabin. Meghan's old friend Chris, who plans to marry soon, comes to visit. They once had a lesbian encounter, and Chris attempts to gauge Meghan's feelings for her. Sean catches them in a near-kiss, and fumes about the fact that Meghan never told him the truth about their relationship. Meghan realizes that she really loves Sean, and tells Chris that she is heterosex

Helen Stewart suspected that her mental state had been horribly misdiagnosed so brought in new prison doctor Thomas Waugh. Karen and Helen went to see Simon Stubberfield about Dr Nicholson's incompetence and got him sacked. The two Julies discoved a stray cat hiding in the prison bins and later discovered it was female when it gave birth to kittens. Josh had an eventful induction period as a trainee PO. Di discovered Josh was living with Crystal. Shell contiuned to taunt Jim, who was still scared of her. The tension between Jim and Helen reached new heights when Jim tried to assert his power by sexually assaulting her!

Jones and Medavoy investigate the murder of a Chinese restaurant owner. An IRS agent claims to have been kidnapped and released, but Sipowicz and Sorenson doubt his story.

Although the barcode matches that of Ben, one of the 12 escapees, the man is not an X5. More bodies with the same tattoo surface and Max is determine to find Ben to find out the truth.
