The Pet-CatDog find a hurt Roach in the dump, and Dog wants to keep the Roach as a pet. Cat trys to get rid of until he's fed up with 'Roachy' the roach, and purchases a machine to annihilate it. When the Roach saves Cat's life, he realizes how wrong he was to stereo-type it.

Overcome with guilt about Lexi's plight, Megan convinces Brett to marry Lexi. She is hurt to learn that they must live together with no one else in the house, especially after Lexi suddenly begins to show a romantic interest in Brett. Michael rebuffs Taylor's attempts to turn him into a responsible father, but softens after delivering a couple's baby on the side of the highway. Peter begins his pursuit of Amanda, who has remarried Kyle. The ""newlyweds"" cannot find any time together. Billy moves in with Jennifer. A furious Samantha tries to use Jeff to make Billy jealous. She demands that Amanda fire either her or Billy, but learns that the outcome would not be in her favor.

Samantha throws a "no-baby shower" in response to the one the four women attended.

When Tish discovers the horrible nickname her new family has given her, it will take some finesse and as much TLC as Billie can handle to ease the hurt feelings. One fall off the wagon later, Billie attends a meeting. She might just be able to get through this after all.

After investigation, they discover that the team they are with on the oil rig are not the really crew, and they work with the last surviving member, Paul Grey, to stop a satellite falling onto the Earth. Ros finds beckett unconscious in a room, and they are forced to work closely when they are left to do, betrayed by Paul Grey.

The archeological team has just about given up on finding anything significant in this remote corner of Alaska when Natalie Grainger (Lisa Zane) stumbles upon what appears to be a burial mound. Inside, the team discovers a number of human skeletons, including one dressed in a strange metallic tunic and preserved in an amber cocoon. When Natalie's husband, Curtis (David Cubitt), touches the cocoon, something amazing happens. He begins to see through the eyes of the creature whose bones were contained in amber, an alien with fearsome claws and teeth. This psychic connection also provides a jolt of energy that liquefies the cocoon and initiates the reconstitution of flesh on the alien's bones. As the creature begins to come back to life, some of the team, including Emmet Harley (Robert Picardo) want to call in a big corporate lab in order to cash in on their discovery.

Rory tries to stab Kyle, but falls on the knife during the scuffle and dies. Amanda recovers from her illness. Lexi learns that her father set her up to take the fall in an embezzlement scheme. She will go to prison unless she can come up with five million dollars. Peter admits his love for Amanda and breaks up with Lexi. He tells Lexi about her father's secret codicil, and suggests that she marry Brett and split the ten million dollars. Brett refuses to consider her offer, and Lexi is arrested. Taylor is saved from the carbon monoxide poisoning, but not before a dream causes her to suspect that Michael is her baby's father. Peter discovers the truth and forces Michael to face his responsibility. Taylor decides that Michael and the baby are her reason for living, and Michael reluctantly allows her to move in with him. Trying to cut a deal after killing an Aryan inmate, Richie Hanlon is forced instead to admit to a murder he didn't commit. Schibetta offers Alvarez a piece of his drug biz in exchange for killing Adebisi. Beecher is forced to meet with the judge who sentenced him; it appears she has a guilty conscience. Beecher's new roommate, Chris Keller, seems to hate Aryans as much as Beecher but appearances can be misleading.
