After Sean confronts Brad's father, who's boasting that Lily and Brad have slept together, he confronts Claudia -- and finds out she already knew too. So when Brad mysteriously gets injured by an airborn Christmas decoration, everyone thinks Sean finally lost his temper. Meanwhile, the boys have spent Sean and Eddie's Liberty quarter collection, and Eddie is disgusted. So Eddie takes the boys out to teach them a lesson about stealing from other people -- by stealing a toy machine that Henry loaded with quarters.

Claudia feels it's time to smooth relations between the two families by having the O'Keefes over for dinner, but the evening falls apart when Brad's mother blames Lily for taking Brad's innocence. Meanwhile, Eddie teaches Jimmy and Henry a lesson in respecting other people's property after he finds out that they used his coin collection to play arcade games.

Returning to work the next day, Rosemary is intrigued by a cut in the ground. Digging around it, she uncovers the skeleton of a human hand...

While Tracey is stuck with pool-cleaning duty, Casey and Misty go to meet the mysterious Georgio. He turns out to be a young Trainer who wants to ask Misty on a date! He even has two great tickets to tonight's Electabuzz vs. Starmies game, the one Casey wants to see. Misty says no, but Georgio offers to battle her—if he wins, Misty will go the ballgame, and if not, she'll never have to see him again. Misty agrees, but when Georgio sends out his Delcatty, Butch and Cassidy grab it! They were hiding at the top of the lighthouse, and now they make their escape on hang-gliders.

Covenant Day arrives, and Dio takes part in the Trial of Agoon to claim inheritance of the Maestro's position by participating in mortal combat against other Principals. Claus, who cannot bear to see Dio fight, worries that he may die. At the same time, the operation to capture Guild Claudia units commences at Horizon Cave. On the Silvana, Lavie finally completes the repairs of her and Claus's vanship. Delphine takes Alvis and Claus to the location of Exile, where they find its defense system has begun attacking Guild ships as well. Exile attacks Delphine's ship but stops when it senses Alvis's presence. Delphine reveals that Exile is a colony ship used by those who first settled on their world. Alex, who has been injected with a truth serum, recites the Mysteria, and Alvis responds to each one. However, he reveals that he has not read the final Mysterion before entrusting it to Sophia. Delphine then receives word that Dio is the Trial's victor.
