As Faith waits for Emily to awaken from her coma, she blames everyone but her daughter for the overdose and reflects on the substance abuse problems in her family; after Cruz's sister is brought into the hospital with an overdose, Cruz gets Sully, Ty and Bosco to look the other way on any possession charges and sets off with Bosco to find the location of her supplier's meth lab, where they end up in an inferno when the dealer sets the house on fire; Kim is reluctant to give a statement in Carlos's case because she's feeling pressured to lie to save his career.

Tom and Natalie call Greg to say they're coming for a visit, because Natalie won Tom a walk-on role on JAG in a charity auction. Greg wants his parents to stay in the guest house, so he nudges Kim to ask Jimmy and Christine to sleep on the living room couch and send Logan to Dominic's room. Kim, who doesn't want the critical Natalie around, is relieved when Jimmy tells her that she'll likely be spending the whole day on the set, since JAG does day-long shoots. Kim's elation is crushed when Natalie says that she isn't going with Tom, she's staying home. Tom anxiously awaits his film debut as a jury member, as it's the first time he's ever acted in front of something besides his mirror. One of the other extras fills him in on how he and all the other ""background actors"" (as they prefer to be called) have perfected personalized moves to help them get discovered. Greg, Natalie, Jimmy and Christine see for themselves just what moves Tom invents when Greg brings home a tape of the dailies. W

She continues working out and decides to start taking steroids so she can enter a bodybuilding competition. One night at Moe's Tavern she loses her temper and starts destroying the bar and fighting all of the patrons. Homer confronts Marge and says he misses the sweet woman that he married. Marge, horrified at what she has done, apologizes and decides to stop working out.

Emma has been protesting GM(Genetically-Modified) foods for a long time, and she decides to take it to Mr. Raditch. When he tells her that the school can't afford it, and that they haven't been proven to be harmful, she decides to inform the students anyway. When Mr. Raditch finds out, he shuts down her informities. When Emma sees a documentary on the cafeteria, she tells the students to boycott the caf, but it ends up in a food fight, suspending Emma for the rest of the day. When she is interviewed for the Grapevine, she keeps going with her protests. Mr. Raditch gives her an ultimatum: Either apologize or be suspended for a week. She decides to keep going anyway. Spinner has his eye on a new designer shirt, but it costs too much for him. It's not enough that Jimmy is getting $1000 worth of stuff for a ''belated birthday present.'' When Spinner sees Jimmy's MP3 player, he decides to pawn it, ending their friendship.

Helen volunteers to baby-sit for her professor and gets to know him better while Roxanne fights for a coveted position writing the ""Backstage on Bandstand"" column for Teenzine magazine.
