There are recent mishaps at a motor speedway. The accidents are prone to a Cherokee team that turn to Walker for help. Meanwhile Trent and Carlos are searching for a teenage girl that has gone missing and is thought to have ended up in the hands of a registered sex offender. They end up rescuing her from the pedophiles house and soon find crucial evidence (photographs) to ensure his imprisonment. On their way to the Ranger Headquarters, they stop to help this woman with ""car problems"" and their car, along with the evidence are stolen. So now they have yet another crisis on their hands. Back at the speedway, Walker and Trivette are discovering that the events that have happened to the Team Cherokee are not all accidents and may be caused by another racing rivalry.

Ballard and Bayliss are called to the scene of the mysterious death of a woman, whose body is found at the bottom of a forty-foot cliff. This victim was to be married the following morning. The two detectives work to determine whether the death was accidental or intentional (via murder or suicide). Meanwhile Sheppard and MGee begin investigating the death of a movie patron, whose body was discovered after the show ended and the theater cleared out. MGee mentions to Sheppard that his sister is about to have a baby, which means Gee is about to become a grandfather. Their investigation reveals that the movie patron was regularly loud and obnoxious and thus bad for business. When an overdose of a sedative is found in his bloodstream, the detectives question the theater owner, who was currently in litigation with the victim. Unfortunately for Ballard and Bayliss, their case remains unsolved.

Unfortunately his concept of a baby shower turns out to be a female version of a bachelor party, complete with a pizza-guy stripper, but the disgusted guests are distracted when Amy's waters break and she is rushed to hospital for a premature delivery -- one which the new Matthews baby may not survive. Meanwhile, Shawn is still on the road to nowhere; Morgan is less than happy about the arrival of a new sibling; and Jack and Rachel worry about the effect of revealing their new relationship to Eric -- who announces he already knows, and is moving out.
