After Martin discovers Tommy has a special announcement to make, he believes that Tommy is going to pop the question. Martin tells the gang and they decipher a plan to put an end to Tommy's engagement to the snow bunny. But after Martin causes everything to snowball, he realizes that the joke is on him.

Claudia is offered a column in the school paper about heart stuff and she soon realizes that something's up with Bailey. Callie tells him that she wants someone like him.

While Fran is trying to convince Maggie not to get a tattoo, Val slips in front of everybody that Fran got herself a tattoo when they were teenagers. Sylvia tells Fran she'll have to have it removed if she wants to be buried in a Jewish cemetery when she dies; and Mr. Sehffield is dying to know where her tattoo is. Fran, of course, faces that as another opportunity for romance with Mr. Sheffield, so she arranges the whole family to go on a trip to the Bermudas, where she can put on a tiny bikini and reveal where her tattoo is. But in the last minute she changes her mind, and the two have a very exciting ping pong game instead.

Drew is upset when Bonnie refuses to go out on dates with him in public. She always wants to stay over at his place and order take-out. The women take David to their motel, where they drug him and steal his money, credit cards, jewelry and clothes. Ray calls Donna and advises her to fly in from Los Angeles. She yells at her friends for not babysitting David, then comforts him. Brandon meets a troubled woman at the Peach Pit; she was robbed just after arriving in town, and cannot get in touch with her fiancé. Brandon provides her with refuge, and helps her pick up the pieces when she learns that her fiancé has met someone else.
