At a PTA meeting, Danny and Joey stand up for the arts program, and Danny nominates Joey for PTA president. His opponent, Mrs. Carruthers, won't give up without a fight, but with the help of Denise's uncle Richard, Joey becomes the co-president of the PTA with Mrs. Carruthers, and they decide that the arts program, which is a favorite among a lot of the students, should be brought back to the school.
