Tommy's new girlfriend Shannon has an ex-lover that can't seem to let her alone. Eventually he and his gang of thugs confront Tommy and beat him up. Martin and Cole go after this angry group of little people to avenge Tommy's beating, by throwing their weight around and bullying the patrons in the little people's bar. But in the end, they almost get beaten up themselves.
When City Councilman Kevin Fogarty comes to Cheers on his re-election campaign spouting a whole lot of political nothings that nonetheless woos the crowd, Frasier bets the gang that he can even get a trained monkey on the ballot and garner 10% of the vote. Without a trained monkey in sight, Frasier chooses Woody as a good surrogate. Frasier does indeed get enough signatures to get Woody on the ballot. Woody helps his own political cause when Holly Matheson, a local reporter covering the City Hall beat, mistakes Woody's farm talk as an analogy for the problems of City politics. In an early poll, Woody garners 8% popular support, enough for the gang to concede defeat to Frasier.
While investigating several deaths at a diabetes clinic, Briscoe and Logan discover that teenage computer hackers may have tampered with the clinic's medical database.
During a bank robbery in Dallas, Walker's partner is killed. Trying to solve this case, Walker finds out that this raid could have been only a test for a much bigger goal: simultaneously robbing four banks lying next to each other. No one believes him. After a bomb explodes in a far away bank, which has just gotten a valuable load, everyone goes there. When the actual raid starts Walker must face the gang alone.

A classmate steals Kelly's wallet, but Donna beats him up when he tries to snatch her purse. A tour guide brings the Burt Reynolds Fan Club to the Pit, but cannot pay the bill because she has supposedly been scammed by her boss. She jumps out the bathroom window and steals Brandon's car. Steve and Dylan catch up to her and spend the day trying to track down Burt Reynolds and convince him to meet the fan club. Burt shows up as a favor to Steve's mother, but the tour guide turns out to be the actual con artist. Turns out that Yusuke and Kuwabara really didn't defeat the Toguro brothers, as they were faking and working for Sakyo, and now Toguro wants Yusuke to enter a competition called the ""Dark Tournament"". Compiled of a group of greedy mafia warlords, Toguro convinces Yusuke, as Yusuke gathers Kurama, Hiei, and Kuwabara for his team, the gang sets out to compete in the tournament.
