After school is dismissed for the day, D.J. goes to the Golden Gate Nursing Home to visit 75 year old Eddie Johnson, her "adopted grandparent" in the Adopt-A-Grandparent program. At home, Stephanie and Kimmy have a disagreement -- Kimmy seems to think her dog Coco is smarter than Comet, so they agree to invite all the dogs that live in their neighborhood into the Tanner family backyard for a little dog show in order to settle this. D.J. has promised to be the judge, so at the end of her visit with Eddie, D.J. tells Eddie about the dog show. Eddie wants to see the show, so he sneaks out of the nursing home and goes with D.J. to the house. At home, D.J. notices Eddie acting strange, like he doesn't know who D.J. is.

Robert Davis joins the union after being attacked by racist co-workers, but has to fight his father on the issue.

Captain Planet and the Planeteers

The Planeteers are saved from crashing by a solar beam, created by Dr. Pollo. He and his daughter live on an island, creating new and innovative ways to use solar power. Kwame falls in love with his daughter, while also becoming suspicious of their lab assistant, who turns out to be Leadsuit, sidekick to Duke Nukem. Nukem's plan is to turn their solar convertor box into a nuclear device, so he can feed on the nuclear energy generated by the beam that saved the Planeteers earlier. The Planeteers and Captain Planet stop Nukem in his tracks, but shocks from the nuclear energy erases Dr. Pollo's memory, prompting him to set out to rediscover his inventions.
