In the Florida Keys, Ma-Ti has a brush with what he thinks is a giant man eating shark, though Gi reveals that it is a harmless Basking Shark. When a local overhears and misinterprets their conversation, panic spreads throughout the resort town, whose mayor then hires Argos Bleak to eradicate all the sharks in the bay. Then, when stinging jellyfish (that the sharks used to feed on) swarm the beach, the townspeople learn that predators have an important role in the ecosystem. After escaping their sinking EcoCopter that was shot down by Bleak, the other Planeteers rescue Gi and Ma-Ti (who were captured earlier by Bleak) . . . and the Basking Shark . . . from bloodthirsty Bleak.

Dr. Wily has turned over a new leaf and is helping Dr. Light build a peace robot named Gamma?! It may sound bizzare, but really, Wily is faking this niceness! Mega Man, Kevin, Rush, and Duke are sent to eight other planets to collect eight energy tanks to power Gamma. All the while, Mega Man and Kevin argue about whose dog is awesomer. After getting all the tanks, they go to California Games for some rest and relaxation. But Dr. Wily warps the dogs to Skull Castle as bait for Kevin and Mega Man. Kevin and Mega Man go to Skull Castle to find their dogs. Leaving Doc Man (a robot from Mega Man 3 who can take on the powers of the Robot Masters from Mega Man 2) in charge of Skull Castle, Wily goes to Dr. Light's laboratory, reprograms Gamma, and steals it so he can take over VideoLand. Mega Man, Kevin, and their dogs escape from Skull Castle, destroying Doc Man in the process. Dr. Light warps to outside Skull Castle to inform them of what Dr. Wily has done. Wily arrives, controlling Gamma.

Mario brings Christmas to Dome City to encourage the cave people to act nicer toward each other. When Oogtar tries to get his hands on the best presents, though, he winds up getting taken by the present stealing King Koopa. It's up to Mario to save Christmas for Dome City.

Bobby and Kelly develop a mutual interest, but Brenda fears that Kelly will break her cousin's heart. Although Bobby is extremely well-adjusted, he feels uncomfortable when he attends a party with the gang. After seeing Kelly dance with another guy, Bobby becomes depressed and asks to leave. He squelches his relationship with Kelly because he believes that she would lose interest in him. Brandon confesses his guilt about the accident to Bobby, who insists that Brandon should not blame himself for daring him to take the fateful ski jump. Brenda finally passes her driver's test, but is afraid to get behind the wheel. Emily joins the school paper. David asks Donna for a date. E.H. Wright needs a new secretary, so Whitley recommends Jaleesa's temp agency. Unfortunately, the company needs to fill the position immediately, and the only person available is Freddie. Freddie overhears the head of personnel say that she does not believe in affirmative action; she feels that she earned her job on merit, and wants others to do the same. Freddie lights into the woman and tells her that she has a duty to her race. Freddie gets fired, making both Jaleesa and Whitley look very bad. Jaleesa agrees with Freddie's stance and isn't sure she wants to do business with E.H. Wright. Col. Taylor angers his wife by pointing out that attacking one's boss because she holds a different point of view is not very smart. Freddie realizes that her behavior was inappropriate, and she and Jaleesa both apologize. Lena has difficulty understanding Shakespeare because of the language barrier. She delves into the spirit of the work and translates it into more modern terms.
