After Ug breaks up with his girlfriend, he starts to crack down on the kids for every little rule violation. When a new mail carrier named Mona shows up and seems to take an interest in Ug, the kids try to get them together, thinking that he will ease up on them if he starts to go out with her.

The gang takes off with plans to spend the weekend camping at Yosemite Park. A sudden monsoon forces the teens to seek refuge in a cramped one-bedroom cabin. Everyone quickly begins to get on each other's nerves. Steve and David go out for beer, but an elderly couple takes Steve's money and splits without buying him anything. The honeymooning couple in the next cabin supplies the kids with food and firewood, but gets into a huge argument. The gang tries to provide counsel, and learns that the husband had commented on waiting to have kids, but the wife is already pregnant. Dylan storms out following a fight with Brenda and has a drink. Dylan and Brandon go for a hike, but Brandon slips on the rocks. Dylan saves him from falling off the cliff, and they decide to keep the incident to themselves.

The general is ashamed when he learns that the rumors of the Lt. (who is also his son) being a coward are true. He offers his son a way out of the army if he can take part in one last mission. The Lt. panics and leaves while his comrades are killed by the enemy. His father sentences him to die by firing squad. Fortunately the guns are loaded with blanks, or so he says.

The Rugrats leave the Dummi Bears to go look for Reptar (showing at the same theater), leaving a path of destruction behind them.

He starts leaving little gifts for Dina, who thinks that the gifts are being left by Michael. Eventually, Donkeylips asks Dina to the dance, leaving her with a choise of whether she will go with him or break his heart.

Instead he argues with his live-in father, Andrew, and finds his wife, Elanor, leaving for her job as a nurse at the local hospital. She decides to get cable soon. Janet finds her self falling for the attractive cable installer. When her Surgeon husband discovers what's going on, he decides to make them part of his experiment.

Tommy, however, has plans of his own, and proceeds to get loose in the resturant kitchen, causing absolute chaos.

In the series premiere, we find the Funnie family have moved from Bloatsburg and are just arriving at their new home in the town of Bluffington. 11 year old Doug Funnie writes his thoughts in his journal and worries he won't be able to make any friends. On a search to find food for his Mom (Theda), Dad (Phil) and sister (Judy), Doug meets his next door neighbour Mr. Dink. He shows Doug a video about Bluffington and introduces him to the popular hangout fast food restaurant called The Honker Burger. When Doug gets to the hangout, he meets Skeeter Valentine who befriends him right away. Doug also meets Patti Mayonnaise and right away, has a secret crush on her. However, all is not well when he also meets the local bully Roger Klotz who tricks Doug into believing he has to catch a monster called a Neematoad at Stinsen's Pond to be a town hero.

Eddie pushes an ""ugly"" sister onto Martin to score points with Marsha. The ""ugly"" sister (Chloe) has a book (""The Feminist Manifesto"") she wants Martin to read. Martin likes Chloe (who isn't actually ugly), but hates the book. Reluctant to reveal his true feelings, and hoping his publisher with reject the book, Martin passes the book to Gibby. Gibby really likes the books market potential.
